I purchased the 1.5” leather belt and couldn’t be happier. While it comes with a premium price tag, it also comes with a premium feel, look, and even smell. It’s easily my favourite belt and suspect it’ll last. Looks great with dark or light jeans.

Such spectacular quality! You finally made my dream handbag, thank you. The crossbody bag deluxe… Zipper on the top, because I do throw my bag about. A pocket on the outside, to pop my phone in. It is deep enough to fit my myriad of stuff, including my wee tape measure, which I always carry, and my iPad mini. The only thing I would change, and this is just a personal thing… the tassel on the outside… I’d rather have the clip attached on a piece of leather, on the inside, so I could attach my keys, and easily find them. I LOVE this purse!

I think I’ve been using this bag pretty much every day for the past two months.

Korean summers are brutal. Temperatures regularly go above 35°C, humidity can reach 100%, and during the monsoon season, it can rain for weeks. Then there are typhoons and the absolutely miserable rush-hour commutes.

This bag has been through all of it with me — rain, heat, humidity, and crowded rush hours.

Despite all that, the construction is incredibly solid. The structured design that Popov is known for is much sturdier than I expected.

The leather is excellent as well. Small scratches and signs of use seem to settle into the leather rather than detract from it. Since it’s black leather, most of the smaller marks blend in naturally anyway.

What I particularly like is how the leather develops with use. Even after getting caught in the rain plenty of times, the finish hasn’t lost its character. If anything, the leather has developed a deeper sheen and patina.

Interestingly, the areas that have seen more use actually have a deeper, richer shine than the relatively untouched area above the front clasp, which is partly protected by the flap. It’s one of those bags that seems to look better the more you use it.

After two months, I’m actually more impressed with how it looks now than when it was new.

TMI: It’s a little on the heavy side, which is actually useful when you need to defend your ownership of it from curious women around you.

Overall, a very well-built bag that seems made to age rather than simply wear out.

I purchased a belt, an extra buckle in silver and a tin of leather balm. The belt and buckle are very nice. I was surprised by the leather balm. The tin is very small. Unbelievably small considering it is retailed at almost $20. Also it's made in USA. Surprising considering all of the pro Canadian info on the website. But the belt is very nice.
