A tote is the one bag you load without thinking, so we build ours for weight. Full-grain leather, the strongest and densest layer of the hide, cut and finished by hand in our Nelson, British Columbia workshop, then riveted and sewn on industrial machines at every stress point.
Two sizes. The Weekender Tote is the large one, spacious enough to comfortably fit your laptop, planner, wallet, water bottle, makeup bag, and even a change of clothes. It has a front pocket, an inside pocket, solid rivets and a brass key keeper clip, on a single 1 inch strap with a 12.5 inch handle drop. The Everyday Tote is the lighter one at 520 grams, sized for your phone, wallet and keys, with room for two bottles of wine, on a 12 inch handle drop.
Full-grain leather is sought after for its scarring, marbling and variations in colour tone, so every tote is one of a kind. It darkens and takes on a patina with use, and marks settle into that patina instead of standing out against it. The tote you carry in year five looks better than the one you unboxed.
